This weeks episode goes a bit more out there as we take a look at a historic exorcism that, despite being a well-documented case for the time, tends to fly under the radar. This is the story of Anna Ecklund, who found herself cursed and possessed by five demons and suffered months of exorcisms lasting for 23 days, in Earling, Iowa, way back in 1928.

I grew up in this town. My Grandma used to tell me about how she could hear the girl scream, despite the fact that my grandma lived on a farm, several miles outside of town. I went to that church, as well as the adjacent school. I remember one of the teachers (a nun) lived in the same room, in the convent, where this girl was excorcised. There were scratches on the wall. Despite trying to paint over them, they always remained. I have the book/pamphlet, Begone Satan, that he refers to.
